SMP EVENTS’ owner and lead coordinator Susan founded SMP EVENTS in 2004 after years of
working with upscale caterers and corporate event organizations in and around NYC. During
events, Susan gravitated toward the small details and specific needs of the clients, recognizing
their unique wishes and fine-tuning the event logistics and flow. So, she created a company
with those essential ideas at the forefront.
Now, 20+ years later, Susan’s flair for organization and innate ability to put people at ease are
essential qualities for wedding coordination. Weddings are comprised of many moving parts
